Audra Vair,  MSc, BSc (Hon)

Research Associate

 Audra holds a BSc in Biopharmaceutical Science (Hon. Genomics) from the University of Ottawa, an MSc in Pathology (M.tb/Immunology focus) from the University of British Columbia and has also completed a Diploma in Clinical Trials Management from the University of Western Ontario. 

Experienced in research at the bench and the bedside, Audra has worked as a research assistant, project manager and clinical study coordinator, and has a comprehensive understanding of metabolism, biochemical activity and pathological outcomes in the human body as well as general disease etiology.

Currently working with the Health Technology & Policy Unit as a Research Associate, her research interests include assessment and patient-access to emerging Technologies in Health, in particular the evaluation of pharmaceuticals and bio-technologies for defined patient population: rare diseases, orphan drugs, genetic-specific populations.
